Welcome to everyone venturing forth on a voyage of discovery to find their Aspland ancestors. One derivation of the name Aspland is from the Viking name of Asplund and so the early Aspland ancestors may well have arrived as part of the Viking invasions of Scotland and England.

The best way to explore my web pages is to click on Surname Index, select and click on a surname of interest, and then click on a person of interest to display that person's record. Within each record you can click on people's names to jump to their record (eg. Parents or children). You can also click on place names to view all events that have been recorded in that place.

My data base is a compilation of more recent Aspland Events, mainly in the UK and Australia. I have linked people into families and family groups where possible. The ultimate aim would be to link everyone into one large Aspland Family.

In creating this data base of Aspland events I have started with three main family trees which were kindly provided by several researchers on those trees. Select the Descendants Charts option in the menu above to browse each of the three charts.

I can offer no guarantees as to the accuracy of the information on this site. People using the site to help them in their own researches should not consider the site as a SOURCE but as a GUIDE to possible answers to their research questions. Users should then seek out the appropriate documents that confirm the information for inclusion in their family records.

The phpGedView Charts & Reports link in the menu at the top will take you to a seperate site where the same data is used to produce charts and/or reports of your own choosing which download to your own computer.
